You can do a search and find tons of information about this subject. We love modding our cars and talking about it. You can do mods, such as; cold air intake or just a cone filter, Y-pipe, timing advance, uh ...there are a billion more...those are the ones that might help you the most for the money.

I know that just because you have a V6 will mean that you won't have that Civic sounding exhaust. It'll be deeper. I personally, don't like the loud exhausts. That's why I am keeping my stock piping and muffler. I think a Y-pipe will make your car sound a little deeper, but not much louder. Plus, the Y-pipe is one of the very best mods you can do to your Maxima.

instant gratification

I'm surprised no one has said this yet...What you need is a turbocharger. Even a junkyard turbo will do. An old T3 from an SVO Mustang will do just fine, but Nismo makes a mean ceramic covered turbo that resists turbo lag. While they are sort of expensive, they are the most efficient, strongest way to get your car going fast quickly. Just make sure you get larger injectors, or your air-fuel mixture will be too weak. And of course, an intercooler is good to have. Good luck! Hope you have fun smoking people in your 4DSC!

1 - dont go above 16" rims
2 - always use 93 octane
3 - clean your throttle body
4 - lighten the load of your car by not having subs in the trunk
5 - cold air intake
6 - y-pipe
7 - whole exhaust
8 - underdive pulley

Let me fix my previous statement....I dont want a loud exaust...Just sdomething that sounds a little more " racey " I was looking at the Warpspeed y-pipe and hi flow cat....and then I want to find a nice looking cat-back....I dont have enough $$$ to supercharge...And I like my 18's and my system....I trade that off any day... Thanks guys
