its obvious that when you open any door in the max, the dome light is supposed to turn on. well the only door that turns on my dome light is the front passenger side. some people told me a wire was probably cuahgt somewhere or disconnected. is that really the case? if so, wheres this wire?

There are sensors at the base of each door. Open the door and look for a small black rubber piece which has a part that can be pushed in. If you take off the plastic cover, it has one screw that connects it to the body. Take this out and you should see a connector with just one wire going out. The way its supposed to work is that when the switch is pushed in, the sensor makes contact between body ground (which is connected by the screw into the body) and the wire going out. So when the wire doesn't get a ground signal, it thinks the door is open.
Check those sensors and make sure the harness is conneted and the wire is in decent shape. Other than that, I'm not really sure where else to look.
