Drop springs
Go with Eibach springs if you want the best combination of performance/comfort,they have a 1 inch drop..
If you want more drop, then go with either Intrax or B&G springs(each have about a 1.7 inch drop)But be prepared to do teh bouncy bouncy on uneven/rough roads with anything other than eibach springs..

Yeah +1 on the Eibach for a smoother ride.
Not trying to Hijack, just trying to add/ ask a question...
Although there are many springs that have a low drop, what perform the best as far as making your car feel like it's glued to the road (If you already had good struts)

My B&G's are decent enough for a drop spring, but they are not what i am looking for in a spring,i want better handling/comfort,so i am soon going to eibach's...You will not get either(performance/better handling) from a major drop spring on these cars, their is just not enough suspension travel on these cars for any of the "major" drop springs giving you a nice ride.
For your car to handle nicely on curvy roads/road course, you will need more than just springs,in general,TIRES are everything when it comes to a car handling/riding nice on a road, along with a good strut/spring combination, also add in replacing all your worn out rubber suspension bushings with aftermarket poly bushings.
Eibach/w Koni struts along with a good set of performance tires will be your best option for performance/handling/ride comfort on the 3rd gen maxima..Yes koni's are mucho $$,but in the end you will not be left "wanting" as i have with my cuurent setup(B&G's with tokico struts)

Thanks guys I hate the way my cat looks sitting up so high. I had a 90 that had some real aggressive drops on it when I bought it and it rode a flyer wagon. I want to avoid all that this time.
When I said good stuts, I did not mean good condition. I meant good aftermarket struts.
I am thinking a Tokico/Eibach with Kuhmo's all around will feel good.

to not using stock struts.....my ride was horrible with stock struts and intrax springs.....destroyed a few underside parts that way. (oil pan, shields, sway bar and bracket, etc.)
