anyhow, i'm on the bottom straight lane going up, in a stickshift, taking my time cuz i'm not in a hurry (ok i lied. i was going slow because i couldn't quite adjust to his 90% useless-travel clutch)
some idiot in an suv cuts around me, goes straight in the turn-only lane, cuts me off just before we crossed the street... i was going maybe 15 in 2nd at the time but even so... he damn hear sideswiped us. granted, you have to basically move over about 10ft going across the intersection, because the right turn lane is actually the lane lined up with the other side's only lane... but it is labelled..

Nope the accident wasn't my fault, I was heading N on 39th between Halsey and Sandy on my way to the 84 onramp, she came out of the parking lot there which used to be a karaokee strip club or something, it's a Real Estate office now. She was on her cell phone
and took a left out of the parking lot without stopping or looking for traffic, right into the side of my car as I was driving by doing 20-25MPH. I felt bad for her though, she was crying about it, and was pretty hot too. I handled it well, I was nice to her and told her I understand, ect...

Needs some help with the paint tho.. a couple flat-white touchups and it's kindda scratched and needs washing. there was another one near here but it's a GXE door so you would ahve to tear out the keypad and also it's got chrome trim and whatnot.. but my JY sucks and i'm done dealing with them anyhow.

3rd gens are rare period. It depends on where you are I guess, but there seems to be quite a few CH0 3rd gens around here.. Hard to find them in parts cars though. But it doesn't matter much now, I am now finally going to repair and respray the whole thing
In NY they have too many 3rd gens, if u drive for 20mins chances are you will see 1 every 15mins or so.

)I think the rarity of them is a regional thing,there are quite a few just in my little town,and many more in the middle tn, area. for the most part,almost every time i am out running errands i see a 3rd gen somewhere.

I saw an emerald green VE5 in a local JY a few months ago... although neither the VE nor the 5 were in it. I think it was rear-ended.
I've seen so many mint ones in the yard its not even funny. And the thing is, they all have had PERFECT tan leather. Among many of em I clearly remember the last one which had 4th gen saw blades, it looked beautiful.
Anyway I doubt pearl white ones are rare. Blue and Gray are the rarest IMO

Man this is messed up. This girl is 20 years old, was heading to her third day at this job she got so she could buy her own car. She wants to settle outside of her insurance and has thanked me repeatedly for agreeing. It actually makes me feel guilty though.. I just got off the phone with her after a 45 minute conversation that felt more like a "get aquainted" type conversation in the beginning of a relationship. I think that would be a first though, "hey babe thanks for the settlement, how about a night on the town, it's my treat?"
Rarity kind of depends on the year, but I think the white pearl isn't that rare because they made it for all 6 years of the 3rd gen. It was actually an option (cost more) to have the pearl paint. However, it was very popular and I think a decent amount of people paid extra for it. Same for the z32s.
For trivia reasons, I think the only color used for one year (1989) is Silver Green Pearl Metallic (code FGO) so I am going to surmise that color is the rarest.
Hectic, that looks like one of those deals where they total out the car, give you a check and you buy it back for $400 then put two new doors on it. I think a body shop would either want to charge a mint to match up that pearl paint or want to repaint the entire car. Plus, two new doors
If they try to go this route, make sure you get "fair market value" not their stupid value, which is always like 30 percent too low. Ask Jeff92SE about tactics. I know he got a lot for his car.
As for my near wreck with the cop, he had his lights and siren on, but he went through the intersection on my green light (his red) and he was going very fast behind a line of cars where I couldn't see him entering the intersection. He basically used the bike lane/right hand turn area to go around three lanes of cars. I was going North on 122 and he was going West on Halsey and it was busy, so there were a lot of cars in the Halsey lanes waiting for the light to turn.
I heard the siren (luckily I had slowed down to about 25-30 because of it), but I couldn't see where he was until we were both in the open intersection, where I locked up my brakes and he missed my front end by a couple of feet.

around here it's almost all black, blue, and gray and beige. never seen an aztec red in raleigh.. never seen an emerald green, and i've seen one or two CH0s and one of them is under a cover.

I also had to bend out my hood do to it not closing properly.
