Digital AC Screen

One of the stickies tells how to make the clock stay bright when you turn on the headlights. How about an automatic climate control screen? Anyone know how to make that puppy do the same thing?

find the wire that feeds the dimmer and tap it off.

Alright. That's helpful, I guess. But I still need to know which wire exactly to cut before I cut it.
