I lied about the location of the oil leak

Last night I had a chance to check out the oil leak again. It is coming from the top of the engine, below the valve cover by the firewall on the passenger side. There appears to be a valve (egr?), that might be the culprit. The engine bay does not give much room there for inspection.
Anyone encountered this before? This is not the car I play with, so I am without any knowledge.
Thanks,

It could be the valve cover gasket is leaking. That is a good thing, considering it could have been worse. If you are mechanically inclined you could replace the gasket yourself, no idea how much the part or labor would be.

It shouldn't be difficult if that's what it is. The VE's have a rubber gasket that sits in a groove on the underside of the valve cover. Not sure about the VG's though.

VG Valve Cover gaskets

I have a pair for the VG that I bought from Courtesy that I don't need. They are unopened, still in the factory bags. Nissan part number 13270-V5000. $30 shipped for the set. PM or email me
