i just posted on it cause i'm probably gonna do it. . . you CAN do it, but you CAN"T have 2 mufflers, at least they won't fit up there. maybe if you found a pair of really small race mufflers you could. the reason is because of the spare tire well and on the drivers side there's all kinda stuff in the way. what i'm probably gonna do is use a borla 1 in 2 out muffler and run 2 pipes out the back 2 tips. there is NO performance gains over this, but it'll look cool. good luck getting pics.

not ture! I fitted two Apexi N1s style mufflers the other day...it'll be a "custom weld" to the chasis on the left side but it will work out fine! as long as the mufflers are no longer than 14" or no wider than 6" it should be a tight fit, but it'll fit!

dude, i am way stoked abuot this now! do you have a link to where you got the mufflers? i'd like to see a pic of em! i'm way excited now! i was worried about it being too loud, but with mufflers it shouldn't be too bad! should help with back pressure too!

how about doing a 1 in-2 out muffler to the other two mufflers if its too loud? i definatly want to do this, it'll look so sweet with 2 3" tips on either side of the car.
flyry-when you get this done, be sure to post pics.

actually therecold be a perf lost, unless you run a 1.5" pipe all the way through..... There have been alot of posts on this before.

personally i believe it's how smooth the exhaust flows, not how large the pipe is.

i bought nevin's. it was one of the first that courtesy made. it's more oval than round. it rubs a little, i might grind this little nubby off my intake and that should fix it. i've heard that the FTSB will fit with some minor modifications. it made quite a bit of difference. the steering became more precise and much quicker. i posted a site that sells 4th gen bars for 30 bucks. with just a little bending they will fit a VE. and for 30 bucks, if you mess it up, it's not a big loss. DA-max. . . how did you get the dimensions on the mufflers?

Told ya so. Buy real Apex'i N1 mufflers though. They come in different colors too(black, grey, red, yellow, etc) if you like that ****..

yeah the silencer is removable....and I got the dimensions from test fitting my friends HKS Hiper muffler(same style/size as N1) before we put it on his Eclipse, plus I took some measurements under the car too....as long as you line the tip up with the bumper and make sure its not infering with the wheel/tire you'll be straight. heres my ghettofied plan and don't expect this setup to be anywhere NEAR quiet or legal(since you're using flex piping), the only BIG task will be the welding, attaching the flex piping to the tire well can be done with the use of 5" "U-bend" muffler clamps and bolts. the flex piping will be easy to hide behind the tire well so you won't have some crappy looking cross-pipe like I've seen on some other custom "dual conversions" --->
