what do you think?
Ive recently come across and 87 camaro with a 305. only things wrong with it are the steering column and doors are bent. My max has been slowly working to its death part by part. if i buy this camaro, $400, i will be selling the max but what do you guys think? keep the max and pay for all the maintnance or buy the camaro and pay for its.

if you were in an area that saw snow, I'd say keep the max.
but without snow you will be dollars ahead maintenancewise with a camaro. The only part that would cost more is the front rotors, EVERYTHING else will be cheaper and more readily available

the camaros all blue like that cept they took a wet sander to it. but buy me the paint and ill paint them, otherwise dont complain. you all complain about people not being able to pay for something cause they spend it on the visual, well you guys are complaining i dont. and thinking it over i think i will keep the max, the camaros a pos.

I dont know about using the camaro as a sole everyday car... not to say you cant but imo i wouldnt. My 97 LT1 is very reliable (probably the most dependable out of all 3 vehicles i have) but i just hate driving it everyday probably because im more paranoid and avoiding parking lot scratches and not driving it in the rain. The 305 is a dog of a motor too, but if maintained well they can still be reliable and parts for it are more common thus readily available and decently cheaper than the average foreign car parts. I like the 3rd gens (camaro), but only particularly the clean 91-92s.
This goes without saying but if you live in a snow prone area in the winter, forget driving the camaro in that
