Just thought of something....

Just curious...I have a 1993 5sp with the shifter the length of a golf club(You know what I'm talking about). You guys think it would be possible to take off the shift ****, cut off a couple inches from the shifter and stick the shift-**** back on?

Would this make the shifts harder?

try the search for "cutting shifter" or "short shift" or something like that

there has been lots of discussions about that

also, check out this recent thread: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?threadid=71097
