look,i got a 90 max se 5spd with crazy miles..260 and some change...heres the thing,engine and trans are strong as can be,but everything else is suspect,p/s leaks, brakes,no stereo due to bose malfunctions,no cruise,yada yada...cars not worth much with that many miles,but as we all know the economy is dead right now,and the place i bought it from said they'll give me 1500 trade in towards another car,they have 2 91 SE 5spds,one black and one white,black with 109k white with 113kboth run great and the black one looks great,they want 4k for the black one and 4500 for the white one,the good thing about this place is i can give them my car down and 100 a week till i pay it off,but should i just keep mine or get one of the other ones(just finished payin mine off from this place) and please dont tell me to save and get a VE

hmmm.....well lets see, I'd say if the problems/malfunctions are major and total more than $1k to fix on your current ride, trade your current Max in and get one of the other two they have, just don't get them if they are an auto(if I could do it all over again, I'd have learned how to drive stick 3 years ago and picked up a VG 5spd...DOH!!!) anyways just make sure there are no major probs with the other Maxs they are selling, cause you might just be buying yourself MORE trouble than you already have!

but damn...260k miles, man your Max has been through hell and back , I hate to say it, but maybe the multitude of probs is showing that "its on its last legs", but damn 260k is a lot, but I wouldn't doubt if the problems were all fixed it could go for 300k+!!!! these Maxs don't die easily.....

Where is this dealer located? I know you're in North Jersey that's not that far from me. I think I might be interested in one of those 5spd's . By the way I think you should get the black se because I want another white max.

its a place in somerville,called county auto sales...he sells used cars for rt. 22 nissan in somerville,he sells good cars,and gets a lot of VGs,if interested call 908 575 9535 and ask for milo,well thanks for the advise and i called him and hes holdin the black one for me,so im lookin foward to messin with that,seems 100% mod ready

You said they are both 91' SE 5speeds, well the SE is a VE engine and i would go with the black one, also the black one has less miles, then why is it cheaper than the white one. oh well, get the black SE!!

The VE engine didn't come out till 92' so he'll be driving another VG. No disrespect though because I drive a VG.
