hey does any one know about removal of abs pump i built a turbo car is there anything i need to know do i need to change the break booster as well

 

why would building a turbo car need you to remove the ABS pump?
IMO you're better off leaving it in there.

if you really have the urge to remove it you need to replace all the lines w/ the non abs lines. the MC and booster should work as is. not sure what you have to go w/ the sensors and the dash light.

the most foolish thing to do when making a car faster is **** with the brakes.

removing the ABS is not the end of the world, depending on the circumstances ABS will actually increase your stopping distance. Personally I have no need for ABS 99% of the time.
but 99% of the people need ABS along with all the other electronic car crapola or darwin would have weeded them out already

I am by FAR not the most experienced driver, and have used the ABS more than thirty times. only once was my own stupid fault, and there probably was no real need for it.
I live in an area dominated by soccer-moms and their big, $70,000 SUVs, and as they talk on the phone, and run red lights, I need to use my ABS to stop as fast as possible. W/O them, I would have slid right into them.

Thats not meant to say ABS is perfect. If its a DD, ABS is a must for your own sake, IMO.
we could argue modern safety features all day("seat belts are more dangerous than not using them", etc.) but I prefer to have them In case I DO need them.
As a dd of course..

I agree with ABS guy, ABS kicks *** WHEN it works. Sometimes I wish I had ABS but I've made up for it by getting some kick *** tires and rear functioning brakes to distribute that braking power a bit
