Adj to E Brake

Hey can anyone help me out by telling me how to adjust the e brake. I had new brake shoes put on bc they were gettin kinda low and I thought that might be the reason but it still dosent work. Anyone tell me where the adj. to the cable is?
Thanks

it should self adjust (at least it does on disc brakes, maybe your drums are different). I just pull mine a few times when i put new pads in and it will tighten up

first you take out the center console:
pop off the shifter surround trim piece (just use something to pry it up from the bottom)
2 screws in back that you have to move seats all the way forward to see, 2 in the front on each side and 2 in the middle under a little popoff panel under the ebrake
unbuckle the seat belts and remove the "pawl" that goes between the belts and the console and prevents the seatbelts from retracting too far (they just pop out if you push in one side)
take out center console (up and a little forward to clear the ebrake handle)
there is a small nut at the bottom of the ebrake to adjust it
