yes sir, and it wasn't fun since i wasn't able to drive my car for nearly 2 weeks cuz of this. the damn kit cost me $80 but don't regret spending since i know it is bound to happening again sooner or later.

its a heli-coil/thread repair kit.

He didn't want to just thread the hole to the next size, he used the heli-coil insert so that the hole accepts the original bolt size / thread. It is a nice way of making a repair, though I have had heli-coils come out with the bolt on occasion, making it necessary to install a new one.
