Interior Swap

So Last saturday night i finally got around to doing what i wanted to do for a long time, an interior swap. with the help of John, and for a little while Stillman, 1992Maximase30, it got done. The JY donor car was in really good shape and I got lucky. One small rip in the drivers seat bottom which is normal and I already fixed it with a repair kit. The leathers pretty soft too, now just gotta keep up wiping in with the leather conditioning wipes. Heres some pics....

BEFORE

DURING SWAP

AFTER

i dont know why the pics look like crap, john compressed them and sent me em and in uncompressed them and used tiny pic, maybe the compression screwed the quality?
tan cloth to black leather FTW!

The leather looks nice. The color of the car is Sand pebble beige I believe, I had one this color gxe. I would have just left thet dash though, that is a lot of extra time and work. Some of the trim in the car is black any way. It would just be black and brown. Nice work though. peace.

uhhh NO! disgusting...black and brown big no no and to get dash out its only 30min-1 hour more why do a half assed swap when we can do it all? but thats just our opinion.

Hey Kevin, you're not looking at that post I made the right way. The reason I said that was because it was NOT my original idea to do the swap right then and there after getting the stuff. I just got sucked in after thinking I'd be getting my MCC LEDed Its fine I guess considering the damn gf wanted to do something else then and earier today. Oh and next time you come we'll paint my centercaps since they look like ****

Most of you must have been standing around drinking with your beers going "yup..." "aha..." "yeah that looks right"

After mine flooded, it took me 10 hours to remove/clean/repair/reinstall the interior while at the same time I drained and refilled the tranny 3 times.

With 4 people this should've been a 2hr job at the most. Everyone pick a door area, grab a screwdriver and get crackin! First one done gets to jump in the trunk to undo the back seat.

Well considering we were somewhat more than half done when they got here... I dont know. I think Kevin and I did most of the work and then got help from Stillman (1992maximase30) but not like the 4 of us were on it start to stop. Took 5 hours for 2-3 of us to do it you can say.

gapboi ben, who needs a midol?

Yea it was mainly me working nonstop and john working most of the time, and then eric put in like the glovebox and radio trim. We werent trying to set a record for speed, if we wanted it done fast we could have but we were looking for quality and we were just generally tired/lazy. Either way, it got done.

wats is a midol?

NO NOT THAT YOU ASSES!
I had 1/2 his old interior in my car followed him to his friends house where he could dump this stuff.
his vg parts car had the mass air flow sensor. we put it on and left to pick up my other cousin up from work. dropped both of them off.

it took me and kevin an hour to get to his house becuase of my maf sensor was screwed.
