Lowered: intrax/tockico

Finally got around to lowering the front suspension on my VE. I got some intrax from Todd which used to be ustfeds and some tockicos from brian which half of the order is still on its way...

Anyways i only was able to lower the front of the car since i haven't gotten the rear struts yet but here are some pics:

With the roads I have been on around Seattle, I don't think he needs to be that low. He might get high centered in a pot hole.

Looks good. You need to find some rims for that car. You should try and snag some lightweight 15s for the track.

Thanks for the comments, i did do it myself with the help of a friend from the org.

As for the ride height, it is a lot lower than a thought it would be, but it will work. It looks about the same in height as my eibach drop on my VG because I have done weight reduction to this car.

As for rims, i'm not gonna waste the money, this car is all go and no show. If you saw the paint job in person you would know what i'm talking about. Maybe later down the road ill get some nice drag racing only wheels but for now I have DR's mounted on some stockers. I want this car to look as stock as possible so it can be a sleeper at the track. Nobody would guess a grandma grocery getter would run 13's!

Honestly though i haven't gotten a chance to drive the car seeing the battery died last night when i tried to drive it and i didn't want to jump it at 1am. I'll drive it in a little and let you guys know how it feels

I'm going from sprints to intrax and Man I'm tempted to cut them

...But that would just be wrong.

Maximahappy22, Exactly what did you do to reduce weight??? I'm very interested in knowing. (I may of overlooked something to cut out on mine )

I think that I will be going intrax after looking at that drop. Will be interesting though here in NY.

Fat Tire and 1555 rock (i think its 1555).

I wanted to lower my ride too since I need new struts but I odn't wnt adverse effects on the ride or stress on the rest of the suspension. It's just a daily driver.

Some of us like to have a decent riding car.
