Illuminas and H-Techs are finally on

I finally got enough time between working on my Jeep project to finish installing the springs and struts on Max.

Couple before pictures:

I expect the rear to settle just a bit over next couple weeks. I've had just the fronts installed for a week or two.

The fronts were really easy, I only need the strut compressors to disassemble the fronts, the assembly was fine without them, the rears didn't need strut compressors at all. Those brackets in the back that are over the strut mounts are a pain, I was able to get an extension with a ratchet in there, but it's not as easy as front.

What have you done to make it easier to adjust the rear settings?

I currently have it set to 4front/3rear and like the handling, with only front bottoming out occasionally when hitting a bump when cornering. I cut an inch off the front bumpstops. I didn't cut the rear bumpstops, we'll see how it does, but I haven't bottomed out the rear yet, plus I never have any load in the back anyways.

I'm planning on installing my H-techs in a week or two and I was wondering about trimming the bumpstops too. You say you trimmed the front 1 in and everyhtings fine, no bottoming out? Let me know how the rear is, if you have to trim them or not. BTW, the drop looks awesome!

Looks good Dennis... I've always liked H-techs...

Btw, I've Progress/Illuminas and didn't trim any bumpstops... haven't bottomed out once and I see no need to trim em... yet...

Illuminas set at 3F 3R...
