strut question and corner light question...please help!

hi all!
my right rear strut was blown out on my 94 GXE, so i bought a pair of KYB (G2?) struts and a pair of dust boots from NOPI. i asumme this was an okay choice? any idea on the cost ot get these installed? im sure i cant do them myself, and i heard they are very hard to replace. is this true? stuff is so hard to find for our cars! also my other question is my cornering lights have a dirty orange glow to the that IMO looks gross. can i get cleaner, brighter lights or a higher wattage? any suggestions? thanks all!

not sure about the struts, but as for the corners, you can get a pair of clear corners off ebay..search for "maxima clear corner" i paid $45 for mine shipped.
as for the lighting, refer to craig B's site.

hope this helps.

will clear corners make the lights that much clearer? i thought they were primarily for looks. wont it still have the same weak yellow/orange glow to it?

also i read in another post that if you put in the bulbs "backwards" they will stay on bright all the time. can someone elaborate on this, and is it safe? thanks

no idea about the backwards thing, but one of the rewires on craig's page is to make them bright all the time.
the only way you'll get rid of the orange/yellow light is to get superwhite/blue bulbs.

um...i have APC bulbs in now, they dont look right when the dim filament is on (maybe becuase the batt is low) but when its bright, its very nice.
the bulb number is 1157 for the corner (main, big bulb in the light housing) and most smaller wedge bulbs fit in the side marker (i have 194 in there now)
also, i've done the rewire, been rewired since the day i bought the car in july, never had a problem.
