Mike90se/Ghostridden/Greeny meet pics
Welp,i took a drive down to mike's house to see his vg/ve carnage. Props to mike for a job well done, it basically looks like the car came with a stock ve.
Just needs some suspension work/a VE manual trans/and a few little doodads here-n-there..

Should look for a photography forum or a Rebel forum, I'm sure there's one where you can learn lots of cool things. I think actually gonna do that as well, let me know if you find one too lazy to look

Black tails
[QUOTE=capedcadaver;6233806]that an NC plate on the first pic? thank god you ditched the black tails... you did, right?
That is a N.C. plate good eye's. If you look closer you'll notice something else. I didn't ditch the black tails and I'm not gonna. Love the black tails.

that's how come i thought you went back to untinted tails. tinted tails are OK if you have 3x brightness bulbs. i consider it to be a safety hazard to block so much visible light on ANY lighting fixture of the car, not just headlights. but then again i am the guy who won't buy a car unless it has amber rear turn signals, or can easily be converted to have them. i was actually going to convert my grandpa's car but i didn't have the money at the time to buy some amber marker lights to stick onto the rear light cluster and rewire the whole tail combo lamp system minus the back-up lights.
but heck if guys can convert a VG to a VE, a few lights is a walk in the park

As everyone said,toks and b&g's
I got my toks from here----> http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TOKIC...mZ150212388545
The b&g's were purchased from shox.com for about $200 with shipping.
If you are going to run ANY sort of drop spring, you need to at least get tokico struts, as kyb's are a bit softer strut.

I need to replace my rears pronto, they are worn out and the right one actually has some play... so I might be getting that set even though my front KYBs are only a year old. Do these require the same volume of oil as the OEMs?

Having never looked into Tokicos before, I thought they would've been way more expensive, but thats actually an appealing deal.
