My favorite mods so far, is the euro glass headlights with the black housing along w/ 6000K Hid setup and my drop (B&G Springs w/ Tokico's). Also my paint, custom black w/ 3 stage pearl blue and "flakes". As much of a hotmess my car currently is, i still get compliments, definitely a surprise each time. No one believes its an old max'..lol.

i have an obsession with amber signals on the rear, i'm even picky about the shade of amber used, so this would NEVER make my "favorite mod" list

This question is kind of loaded, since most of my performance mods work together to make the car better than stock. I think the one I get the most compliments on is my exhaust. That GReddy is beautiful (and sounds sweet) compared to all of the fart cans out there.

I would have to say my favorite mod (the one I get the most enjoyment out of) is my stereo. It sounds great, I use it every time I get in the car and it always functions well. I could use a bigger amp for my sub and upgrade to better front speakers, but otherwise, I am very happy with it.

I think my stereo setup is my favorite mod also. If you think about it, your always using it whenever your in your car: in traffic, at a stop light etc. Also 1500 watts rms, 2 kicker l7's and a completly dynamatted car does help the experience

I had a pretty nice Diamond audio set-up. Nothing crazy, but sounded great. Except I blew out the amp, with a 10 inch Alpine sub, I think.

I want performance mods once I get it back on the road. I don't care anymore if I have to pay for labor.

I need mods, and I want them now!

my best mod, so far: heated mirrors. I haven't been able to put too much money in my car, yet (for fun stuff, anyway)
it doesn't get too icy here usually, but it sure does get rid of the water when it rains!

What kind of "big difference" ?? You have fallen for the oldest trick in the book dude, the turbonator does absolutely nothing in terms of gas mileage or power increase. It's a useless hunk of metal.

Same problem with 91 Nissan

Try unplugging the throttle positioning sensor. You should notice a difference right a way if that is the problem.

AIIGHT YA CAUGHT ME i did get a fuel system tune up at the same time so maybe i fell for it but after all that my real question is whether a cai drops low end power enough too consider a GAB or not even mod the intake

A cai is good for a nice growl at WOT more then anything, though the ve30de engine does experience some gains from a true cai, as they are extremely prone to heat soak. The vg30e, not so much.

You would be right, Phenolic intake spacers will give you some increase in hp over a cai..

the ultimate fav mod among every vg30e owner has too be the warspeed performance exhaust so many have it but one thing i notice is that they dont have the matching pacesetter headers alot of people use cattmann and others
no idea why?
