Car shaking like not getting enough feul

Hey I have a 93 maxima and its shakes whenever I push on the gas. I thought it might be the injectors or filters. Any suggestions?

There is also a clicking that just started coming from the engine.

what are you meaning by shaking the car runs ruff? Does it have loss of power when step on gas? Does it cut out at all? If yes to those fuel filter is like $10 can't hurt easy to change. If that don't fix it look into the injectors possibly.

Agreed.

"...whenever I push on the gas..." ---> wobbly 'pusher'?

Check your spark plug wires to make sure they are on the plugs properly. The clicking could be a loose wire that is shorting to the engine block. therefore no spark in one cylinder and the shaking when you push on the gas.

A cracked distributer cap did this to me once. Need to look inside the cap near the contact points for any TINY cracks.

Perhaps a missing/bad vacuum hose, but also if it's dying right away when you apply gas make sure the electrical connection to the air intake is attached. If not, it will get just enough oxygen to idle, but die when you press the gas.

vacuume leaks usually give a bad idle and the engine may stall, but when you start driving it wont seem like an issue. Since an air leak is small and once you start driving that little amount of air doesn't effect the engine as much.

How ever it will lean out the engine and can still cause issues.
