91 SE Rear parking brake cable

I recently ordered a replacement emergency brake cable for my 91 SE from Rockauto. It seems that the new cable has a different end from what is on the car. See Here The end on the left is totally different from what is on the car. Has anyone else run into this?

later 3rd gen ebrake cables, at least the ones I pulled from a VE, have a hook at the end. The ones on the parts car don't have the same tip. I can take a few pics tomorrow and let you see what you find to be the difference.

It looks like I have the same ends as the 1995-1999. See Here

yes, that's what my JY VE brakes have on them. my parts car, being an 89, has a different ebrake tip. Remember that 3rd gens had 2 disc brake designs: 89-90 and 91-94.
