Window Tint or not?

I am kinda on the fence about tinting my windows on my 90 max.

What is everyone's opinion to Tint or not to Tint?

I just got tint on my car, I asked for 25% but I'll be damned if it looks darker than that, though it is easy to see out of at night, perhaps it's just the brand. It helps a lot with the Florida sun beating in the car, and I happen to like the look of it with the contrast. Overall I've been happy with it since I got it.

Even though my tint was awful, starting to crack, and purple, after I took it off I kind of missed having it. I would imagine it was about 30%. I like the look of it, makes the car a little more private feeling too. I'll probably get it tinted again this summer if I don't have any more pressing mechanical issues.

I got 20% rear window, 35% rear side windows when I got my car and I'd do the same again.

I just picked up an 08 and decided for the first time in my life to tint the windows of my car. I went with a 35% all around (except windshield of course) and I love it. Sorry I didn't do it sooner. As mentioned above by Gunther it makes the car feel a bit more private too... At night the 35% is not so dark I can't see out... Plus it just looks cool!!!

Whatever you do, make sure you consult your local laws about tint gradients. In general, the further south you live the darker gradient they will allow. But there is nothing that will ruin your night more then getting pulled over just because the officer "THINKS" your tint is too dark.

It matters little once you're pulled over whether you've broken the tint law or not. Now you are the object of the cops attention. If you've had a bad day and are a little snippy your whole day can go from bad to hell on wheels in a heart beat.

I like the look of tint, but I'm not gonna tempt fate again......
