ISO some serious help (ignition system)

OK, here is the problem. I have a 90 GXE. I only seem to have spark to the #5 and #6 cylinders. I tested the ignition power transistor and it failed 2 out of the 4 tests. I went and bought a new one and it still didn't fix the problem. I tested the new one and it had the same results. I have spark from the coil. I just did a full tune-up about 2 months ago. When the car is cold it will start briefly and then stall. I had put up a post about this a few days ago and everyone said the MAF sensor was the problem. I couldn't imagine why but I took mine out and tested it in a friend's car and it worked fine. Does anyone know of any relays or inline fuses to look out for? EGR seems to be clear and working properly. I attemped to take out my ECU and try it in my friend's car but I wasn't too sure how. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Chris

Check your distributor cap and rotor for cracks. If they're in bad shape, replace them ASAP. Good Luck.
