Has anyone wired a headlight timer switch so headlights will automatically shut off after a few minutes when the engine is off? I noticed that some of the newer cars have it in case you just forget to turn the headlights off. I've done that a couple of times myself. First time had to jump-start the car, second, my neighbor called me and told me.

 

we had been talking about this in another thread except we weren't talking as much about keeping the lights on for a while. but this can be incorporated tho..

 

Ahh my bad. Couldn't find it. I'll look it up though.

 

i think it was called "headlights OFF with ignition" or something like that.
