Window Tinting

how do the %'s work, the higher the % the darker the tint? or the higher the % the lighter the tint? I want to get the LIGHTEST tint posssible (#1 - money, #2 - i want to be able to see out my windows at night) Im probably gonna have a Nissan dealer do it, they said about $200-ish for all except windshield....but do you think itd look too corny if i just get the back window and the 2 back door windows done?

The higher the %, the MORE light gets through, so 95% would be like no tint, and 1% you'd have painted over windows

I personally don't think tinted rears only would look bad. Depending on where you are (I think maybe like where I live) it might be illegal to tint the fronts, so lots of people have it. I thought it might look strange too, but I saw several cars on the road with tinted rears and decided it looked alright, probably because it's dark inside the car anyway.
