EGR Flare Tube - Lower Connection Source of Exhaust Leak?
EGR Flare Tube - Lower Connection Source of Exhaust Leak?
I may have pinpointed a prior source of exhaust smell that used to go into the cabin. For some strange reason the problem sort of fixed itself most of the time, but anyways, when I was removing the upper intake, I noticed the connection at the bottom was jiggling and felt loose. This is where the pipe meets the connection area of the header pipe.
Is this connection supposed to be a loose rotating type connection so the pipe can swivel? If not, is there a way I can ensure a good seal down there. I think I feel a rubber stopper but I can't see inside.
Any remedies?
