Trying to get my hood to shut up..going over bumps..that is.-->

Sounds like something similar to that of my 300zx...

go over bumps...the hood makes a mellow "squeak". Sound like a cricket. I fixed the prob in my 300zx, by raising the hood stops a little bit...but it can't work in my 90 MAx becaise I don't think they are adjustable, right?.

Any suggestions?

If the hood stops are truely non adjustable (I have yet to check) try attaching several pieces of double sided tape onto the stops. Just cut to fit, and of course the last tape you use do not remove the protective backing so the tape doesn't stick to the radiator support.
