Very eloquent. The original timing belt went 15 years and 60K miles without going slack. Its unreasonable to think the new one didn't last 6 months and 3k miles. All the parts are new and were installed as per the manual, yeah anything could happen but there are no symptoms, sorry you didn't like me dismissing your idea. Also good luck with leaving the cover off, the reason its there is to keep dirt and debris out, make sure you post when yours skips a tooth because something got in there, I would love to hear it.

I like to insult people over and over and over. I just asked Matt93SE to give me a vacation for the weekend. If my actions continue next week, The moderators will give me a longer vacation.

Cant. Possibly Code55 -loop?
Btw Cover: Cam belt cover is just dead weight, not needed. But. Remember that after this mod the car is not for businessmen: get tie tied with T-belt - that will be THE last tooth inspection. So pls dont do it. Inspection is easy after just takin top screws out.

Since I seem to be back at square one I think I will take a step back and look at things that seem to apply most, first. Given the problems and the conditions that bring them about I will try these items next:
1. Tranny diagnostics, I dont see a reason for it to be failing but it seems it doesn't matter how the car is driven, it can fail anyway.
2. Injector resistance test, just to make sure its in spec.
3. Coolant temp sensor, might be giving ECU wrong signals about engine temp.
4. ISC motor, could be an air regulation problem, maybe just dirty, definitely would affect open loop performance.
5. TPS could also be dirty or malfunctioning.
6. Knock sensor, but I dont see that affecting it under the specific conditions, its mostly under no load.
Let the testing begin!
Also next week I will be putting the new exhaust in AFTER I test all the other stuff, then I will see where I am at with fuel mileage and troubleshooting. I could throw it all in at once but I really do want to know what is causing it. Its probably going to feel great with the warpspeed pipe, K&N filter, new cat and plugs!
