Another timing question

Hey,
I read awhile ago about advancing the ingnition timing from 15 to 20. I REALLY need to do that. But there is only one problem. The search I performed (Yes, I did search. I know you guys hate it when people ask questions that have already been answered 90 times.) only turned up the facts about power gains, acceleration, etc. I need to know how to actually perform the procedure! SPECIFIC details! I have a 90 GXE, if that helps. Info is GREATLY appreciated. I'm going to be racing some ******* at school in his POS caprice classic, and I need to absolutely blow him away. Winning will not be enough. I must completely destroy his sorry rust bucket, and that extra throttle response is just what I need. Thanks a million, guys. BTW, saw a sweet 87 MAX at work today, in mint condition. It was beautiful to see the ancestor of the modern day road ruler in all it's slightly bad a$$ grace.

excellent!

Hey, thanks a ton! I'm so glad to get this taken care of. Just a little more time and money, and I'll have this beast running like butter on a bald monkey. I just ordered a manual for my car, so hopefully I won't have to ask any more simple questions like that in the future. Thanks again!

ummmmmm, if he has the police package on his caprice the dual exhaust caprice, even VG30DET wont help you, my friend has one, his 0-60 is 6.3 and 1/4 mile is 13.5.(just a diff version of Impala you could say) So if he has that verison save your breath and gas. But if not go for it, the regular caprice is mad slow.

my money is on the max

I'm pretty sure he doesn't, but if he did, I'd be amazed. His crapice is so rusted out, when I asked him to race me, he said his steering wheel was about to fall off. Not to be overly confident, but I'd say chalk another one up for the Maxima. That should make him shut his yap about how crappy my car is. Thanks for the warning! Later.
