sunroof fix for good?

my sunroof broke last summer(toward the end, thankfully) where it would get stuck open. as soon as i could, i took the glass out to take a look and see what the problem was. It was the roll pin from the bracket(found a pic by internetautomar here, circled). earlier this spring, in anticipation of summer, i went to my local pull-a-part, and snagged a new roll pin. well, a couple of days ago, it fell out again, so i was wondering if anyone could get the size of the stock pin, and wether it would be wise to go oversize when replacing it again(drilling out the holes, and buying a new pin, next sized up). this thing is a ***** to replace, so i do not want to do it again, after i re-fix it.
thanx, guys.

IIRC I split the roll pin with a center punch so it was flared at the ends. That kept it in, as I had the same issue as you when I originally did the swap.

you should be able to pick a new roll pin at home depot for a buck or so.
