My clock quit working...Advise

Lately my LCD clock as been fading in and out on my max....yesterday it just stayed "dead"...How do i go about replacing it?

Hi man,
Don't be in a hurry.
Before replacing the clock look for the info in 3Gen Forum for last 10 (maybe 15) days. It's a well known bug.

ive heard you can replace a ribbon inside or something, or you could just pull a clock and slap it in.

here ya go...
Remove from Dash
Remove covers
Separate circuit boards by desoldering
Remove and resolder ALL contaminated solder joints (don't remove the parts)
There is a resistor added (modification) to the top of one of the boards that needs careful attention.
Replace the 1, 10 & 47 microfarad electrolytic capacitors
Replace covers
Reinstall clock
