fuel pump problem

fuel pump problem

well im working on my 92 se auto. done a whollleeee lot of work. now its all comming to a end.


got the motor to turn over, getting fire, just no fuel.

ok.

i have searched.

1. security box is unplugged.
2. fuse is good, hasent blown once.
3. relay is good, even swapped a few over.
4. fuel pump is getting power to the sending unit, as its working.
5. i strait wired the fuel pump, ran fine, even cranked up and ran fine.
6. checked ecu codes, code 55 which is all is good.


so im offically out of options . i have no idea what to check. please help me out.

sounds like you have the unenviable job of tracing wires.

have you checked the wire from ecu that supplies the fuel pump relay with ground when you turn the key on ? maybe your ecu is bad it self. it will supply fuel pump relay with ground for like up to 5 seconds.. if cas isn't sensing the engine getting cranked over the fuel pump ground wire from ecu stops. its for safetey if you car flips or something and dies.. your fuel pump wont stay pumping.
