Shop Manuals

Anyone have any suggestions to a shop manual for the 3rd gens?
A little about it, and where to get it would be great, thanks!

I've got a chiltons for mine. Any autoparts store should have them sitting underneath the counter up front.

If you have a 92-94 SE, you have to go through Nissan or a distributor for a factory service manual because every company that I have looked throught does not make a service manual for the DOHC VG30DE.

I believe a Hayne's manual would be better/easier to use for your car. I have a VE, so I have the Chilton's, which I think is better for my car. But, IMO, the factory service manual is the best to use. I asked my local Nissan dealer for the price of a FSM for my 92 SE and he said it was about $55. That's not bad, if it is, in fact, a new 92 SE FSM.

Thanks, I had a Haynes manual for my old car. I've heard some things good and bad about the chilton and haynes manuals so I was just checking to see if anyone else had any suggestions. Thanks

Re: Re: Shop Manuals

Thanks Aaron, You replied as I was typing mine I'll have to check out the dealership and see what they say, seems like that would be the best route to take. Thanks!
