It was the "I get around" video it was a black 3rd gen with the old school 5 star wheels and chrome body trim.

There was also a 3rd gen in the movie "mence 2 society" with actor larenz tate.Him and a buddy were tryin to steal a black 3rd gen in a parking garage before they interrupted by the cops.

Transporter 2
Tenacious D

serious? i watched TRANSPORTER 2 like 100 times and i didnt notice 3rd gen anywhere can u tell me about where 3rd gen comes in the movie?

There was also a gold GXE in the beginning of Office Space where Peter is changing lanes, one of the lane changes and you'll see a gold GXE.

brian already beat me to it. how in the hell did you miss that if you saw the movie like 100 times??? and i think it was 2 3rd gens that was used in Transporter 2 for the chasing scene in Miami Beach.

Found another one, at the beginning of Haggard where Bam and whatever the hell that other guys name are out on the street looking at banners on a light pole there is a dark blue 3rd gen SE w/ spoiler right behind them, then it switches camera angles and you can see they screwed up and it's up the road like a block, then it switches back to the other camera and it's behind them.
