another headlight upgrade option?♦♠

I was at the junk yard today, and saw a 92 acura vigor. I thought the headlights looked kinda similar to ours, so I took one of 'em (already removed, and sitting on the engine) and carried it to a maxima. sure enough, they are almost the same shape.

sorry about the angle, but I went by myself, and had to set the lens so it would not fall.
These lenses use 9005/9006 bulbs, same as the e36 lenses.

here is a pic of a vigor, just for a reference to the car.Link!!!

no, I didnt get it, I was on a quest for parts for my sister's car, and noticed it. it wasnt in the budget, and I cant afford anything outside the budget, atm. I only posted, cause somebody may want an alternative to the bmw look, but with the dual bulb action

I can't see the full sized picture, photobucket claims it was moved or deleted.

I've never actually laid my hands on E36s but to me they look like they'd fit better though wouldn't look nearly as cool.

looks like it might cast a wall-eyed beam if mounted flush

maybe, but note the headlight for the max. its about an inch or so back, so it was pointing towards oncoming traffic. and that was the best placement for the vigor lens I could get to stay sitting there. not saying it would work, but might.

You can get a lot of good ideas being at the junkyard looking for parts for a sister's car A couple months ago I was at the yard trying to find a starter for my sister's Quest. Course the first thing I did in the yard was look for Maximas. I found something interesting and bought it just because. A day or two later I started brainstorming and 30+ hours of labor later the project is pretty much done. I just have to put final touches on it.. I've been slacking a little bit on it lately though. I never did find the starter for my sister's car, she just decided to buy a new one.

I'm not sure if it would be worth it to swap headlights, it's probably an upgrade over stock (almost anything is), but how much of an upgrade is the question.
