oh and btw, I do have an 00VI, but that's being used on my other project and it'll cost alot more money to have an adapter plate machined for the VE than it will to make this manifold.

FYI, The turbo is just sitting there and will be placed elsewhere...

I want to know how much horsepower this manifold will make you, that thing is ugly no offense.

I'm not sure, but I know it will make quite a bit more top end power than the stocker. Maybe 15 hp... I'll loose low end, but I have a spare manifold if it bugs me too much.

Of course it's ugly, I'm in the beginning stages of making it. I guarantee that it won't be ugly when it's finished.

Haha okay man good luck with that...I've never found the VE to be beautiful looking personally. I'm a sucker for the VG though...one of the few engines that I think looks good. They don't make them like that any more, covering up our engine bays with useless plastic, thats what hoods are for!

15 horses is about 7-8% increase for you guys so that should be nice on the track, I hate losing low end....assuming its above 2K RPM...screw slightly above idle, just forces me to not hit the pedal so fast.

How long till we can see the dyno sheets?

IDK

I might dyno soon after I finish, but I'll probably wait until I have a tuning device.

Are you joking? It's a 3L V6. It's a variation of the 4th gen engine.

sounds good, SAFC sounds a little weak compared to the EMU but I haven't completely decided against getting one since they do seem a bit simpler and the only place I've had experience tweaking stuff of this nature was on this computer...need for speed and nitto 1320.

The romulator and etc stuff looks awesome but looks like its aimed at people who really know what they are doing and don't seem as user friendly as the EMU though I take it that you know what you are doing.

I don't really believe in the "know what you're doing" saying. You just need to believe in yourself, not be afraid, and have some common sense and knowlege.

My moto is, "if it can be done then do it!"

I prefer to be cautious in everything I do, I don't believe in myself when it could blow an engine or other expensive piece of technology.

Neat, how will you bond the aluminum to the steel? I'm guessing your using steel anyway.
