This is what happened: I was cruising at about 40mph and all of a sudden the engine rev'd like a mother!! and I started to coast. I guess the tranny stoped pumping. Does anybody know or have an idea what is the matter with my tranny? It won't go in either direction in any gear!!!Any tips, suggestions, or idea would be greatly appreciated. Oh, it's a '89se auto.

 

that happened to me, caused me to get to get stuck on the road, u need to either replace the tranny or get it rebuilt. either way its gonna cost a lot of money

lucky for me, my dad's friend rebuilt mine for only 500 dollars and its stronger than before

 

go to phoenixhardparts.com i got mine from them for 775 I should be getting it in like a week. They have a good warrranty. I'm doing it myself, and I'll let you know how it works.
