VG30E Almost Complete!!!

Did more than I anticipated to do from the beginning...Been bored .5mm, balanced, ARP rod bolts, Isky 256 cam, ported heads, port matched intake system, 3 angle valve job, etc almost thru....

Looks awesome! What did you/they do to get the block and heads so clean? Its hard to tell from the pictures but it looks like the heads and block aren't painted?? I would take advantage and paint them now if they aren't already. If time and money are an issue, just use some good rattle can paint and if you want to go all out use Por 15. Por 15 is a little expensive, but it is amazing and well worth the price!

From the pictures it also looks as though you bought a new coolant pipe (the one that runs from the thermostat, through the V, and to the drivers side of the radiator (and heater core)). Again, I would highly recommend painting this too as the coating quickly wears and the pipe rusts.

Are you using anything for tuning right now? I cant wait to see your results!

Yes, it's painted aluminum silver! I love the all aluminum look, like the newer 95- present with aluminum heads and blocks! I like black but glossy black engine are difficult to do a quick visual inspection on due to every reflection looking like an oil leak! So on this engine I chose to go industrial grey or silver!
