Even if my car was an Automatic, do you think that It looks ricey? The only thing on my car that it really isn't is the Skyline "GT-R" emblem...Not including that, what do you guys think? The reason I ask this is because a person I met up at school thinks that my car is "riced out". I just think that he is jealous (not to brag here!) Opinions?

Absoulutly.......NOT ricey....

The only flashy thing I can see from the pic is the wheels..and those are pretty tame. Why isn't it ricey? Because more of your mods can't be seen than can....your improving the driving..not just the looks.

Hey...when you added the underdrive pulley...what kind of gains did you feel? Worth the price you paid? which was how much? How long have you had it installed? Problems?

i hate the whole "ricey" labels to begin with. so what if your car is ricey? your cars tight so dont worry about it. that is how i want my car to look, with those style rims and all. btw nice color but your car is not ricey at all by most standards. no huge wing, not a lot of stickers, etc., etc. i think people would consider my car more ricey than yours. in fact many on this forum have called me ricey.and for those of you who consider me ricey- i took off my wing today! soon to get a factory se wing.

Re: Absoulutly.......NOT ricey....

With the underdrive pulley, I bought it directly from Unorthodox racing (dumb move) for $219.00 plus about $10 for shipping. I bought new gates belts (3 of them because you need smaller ones) from AutoZone for about $45. I had a import shop install if for about $75 labor because I really didn't have time to do it myself. It took them about 45 minutes to install it.
Now as far as the performance goes, your A/C will not change how it effects your engine. The first thing that I noticed when I got it back (and floored it of course) was that the RPM's build up ALOT...i mean ALOT faster than stock and you can feel that the car "pulls" better. I'm guessing it probably took about .1 or .2 (maybe more) of a second off my 0-60 time. I haven't had time to take it back and get the HP at the wheels yet, but my guess is probably around 5-8 HP increase. The car doesn't sound any different, nor does it change your RPM redline since the computer controlls that. If you have any other questions about this, then just post them, or e-mail me at shibbeler@netscape.net

Re: One last thing......

Yeah they did tell me the belt sizes....they were in the instructions that came with the pulley....they only give part numbers for GATES belts, so i didn't want to take any chances here. I have put about 5 to 6 k miles on it and the only problem was that i had to retighten the belts because they began to squeak after about a week, but that was to be expected with replacing any belts.

its an erebuni. i wanted the f-40 wing for the maxima, but the shop i got it through screwed up and gave me this one. then they wouldnt take it back. i also think it was used cuz its white and it was supposed to come primered. and it has the led in it. i got tired of the blue and white so i took it off. it would be alright but i dont want to spend the money to get it painted. i'm gonna see if i can sell it to one of my friends or something.

Don't get the UD pulleys if you are going to need power...espically for cars that have sound systems in them, the UD isn't for you.

What

What about the one Kaleb is installing?

His is just much lighter..like 6-7lbs but not smaller so the acc. spin at the same speed. That seems like a good compromise.

I have a wing just like that one that used to be on my car. Mine was made by wing rider and seemed to fit nicer. It has an LED too. If anybody wants it I'll get rid of it.

92GXE, touring wing, 18” racing wheels, Port&Polished intake, custom intake, custom yellow interior, racing seats, back seats taken out and replaced with subs and amps, NOS kit, Suspension tech. Lowering springs, custom grille, soon to be custom painted and have the whole engine rebuilt for big shot NOS and custom SC and tranny converted to 5-speed.

The Whole Story on that Top speed picture -->

As you know, I had a white 91 SE and now have the black one. This photo was taken in my white car. I was going home from Purdue University to Northern Indiana. I think I just had an intake at the time. I had a nice 10 - 15 mph wind pushing me from what I remember and my 230 lb friend in the passenger seat. I pegged my speedometer where the needle was over the "Y" on the unleaded fuel onl"y" characters. This photo is an exact figure of where it was. I had an original picture of going 100 mph and had my friend use photoshop to change that one to depict this high speed picture (135 or so). So it is not a real picture taken at the time. I cropped it to leave the rpm's out, as they showed like 3200 (100 mph in O/D). Incidentally, I recorded about 4300 in O/D at that speed. I have not taken my black one over 130 mph. I got up there once when I raced a Camry before my Y pipe and could not go any faster than that from drag limitation.
Again, don't feel you need to go out and do this, it's not safe! Please use my picture all you want.

Yeah...I didn't even pay attention to that....

I'm downloading the pictures of the "yellow" calipers and the "first snow" into my computer as we speak (yes, I finally bought a digital camera!!). I'll post them after I get home from work...I'll be back here sometime after 8:00pm CST...by the way...with the snow here yesterday, there have been so many accidents here today because the roads iced up this morning. I have to switch back over to my OEM rims with the snow tires....those KumHo Ecsta Supra 712's don't work on ice/snow one bit!! God bless Blizzaks! I had a horrible time trying to get traction today! It sucked!

Sure you can have it. It just sits in my closet. What are you willing to pay. I'm not asking much. I paid $350 but I kinda got ripped off. It is a nice wing though. The best part is the LED.

Ummm....No I meant I ALREADY bought a wing from James92SE...I was wondering how much the FRONT AIR DAM from STILLEN (just the air dam) costs...do you know? Also with the ground effects, do you just replace the bumper cover, entire bumper, or add it onto the bumper? I'm kinda confused as far as that goes....do you know?
