I bought those brackets from ebay about 6 months ago, the seller was from canada and he told me he only had one more left and he won't be producing anymore because low demand. It's a shame because it looks great and the instructions he include are very clear. Haven't had time/money to do my E36 mod but I will in the coming months since I have priority for other stuff now.
I just want to let you know that yeah, probably no more of this on ebay unless someone who bought this want to sell it back, or someone parting out a 3rd gen.

This may be a bit off topic, but if anyone with these brackets could chime in, would there be any possible way I could get dimensions and detailed pictures of said brackets? I have a way of getting them fabbed cheap, I would just need dimensions, ect. Thanks.

It COULD be profit. It's actually my dad who would be able to get them fabbed; he's got access to machines at work and has friends with the know how and skill to fab pretty much anything. I doubt it could be a substantial business deal with the .org, but maybe if they aren't that hard to fab, a groupdeal can be arranged. I would still need dimensions and pictures and then I'd have to see if my dad can get it done in the first place.

and those are the only 2 wires that come out from those headlights??? weird but then again those are the Euro ones with the glass lens that you have there right??? i have the regular E36 headlights so what i used were the 9006 harness that they sell at your local parts store you need 2 9006 and the other one is 9005 if i can remember? been awhile since i've looked at the harness.

Hate to dig up a 6 year old thread... but I've been MIA in the Maxima game for 8+ years.... and this thread was started based on headlight brackets I bought. (yes that is my picture of the bracket on an ugly as blanket, and my old old cardomain)
I've emailed the guy in Canada that I bought these from to see if he can get/make more. Will post back on the forum if he can still get them as I'm sure there may be a few of you interested in a bracket that makes it easy to put some E36 BMW headlights on.

Same one. Just haven't drove it much. Not that I didn't want to or it wasn't road worthy.
I bought a new truck a few years back and drove that a lot as it was new to me. Also, my driveway is a single car driveway, although I can park 5 cars deep on it... I refuse to park my brand new truck on the street and I definitely have too much time, sweat, and money into my maxima to park it in the street. Basically I was getting tired of pulling the truck out, park it in street, pull the maxima out, part it somewhere else on the street, then put truck in driveway, then drive maxima wherever (and vice versa depending on what I wanted to drive).... Ya I know, seems stupid, but just how I chose to go about it that worked for me.
Then I had a son and the wife was out of work briefly, so I needed to cut cost. Stopped driving the maxima altogether to save insurance. Cut other things too like cable and cheaper cell phone, etc, but that's another story and not as bad as it may sound. So she's been sitting for a couple years.
Anyways...
1992 se VE30DE auto- had bad VTC clack at 162k which I put in a non clacking JDM VE in. I've put 32k on the JDM, no idea what the JDM had prior to me getting it.
Auto tranny was rebuilt during motor swap along with other maintenance like replacing hoses and parts on firewall side of motor, while they were easy to get to.
ASP UDP, WS Ypipe + WS cat and 2.5" pipe, stillen body kit, CAI, new knock sensor, replaced o-rings on all injectors along with new fuel inj hose, bwm headlights, remote start, suspension technique springs, koni up front, can't remember what I have in back, gloss black front valve cover. 17" chrome rims (Im on the fence still on how much I like them, but they were free from father in law)... I'm sure I left some stuff out, but like I said, I have a lot of time and money put in this. I will probably be buried in this car.
Since she's been sitting, the fuel hoses have cracked. So I'm doing a tune-up, replacing all fuel injection hoses and any other hoses needed. Then back on insurance and she'll be road worthy again. I have to get emissions by the end of the month, so I'm hoping she still passes.

Man i just jumped on here because i want to buy a 3rd gen...sold mine 6 years ago..
I don't remember needing a bracket when I put the BMW headlights in, I do remember needing to put washers in for spacing though -.-
Matt you sold the grounding kits didn't you? lol

That housing shouldn't be too hard to refab.
These headlights aren't horrible to bolt up in anycase for anyone wanting to do it. The system/procedure has been pretty well perfected as I recall. I recall taking my time and having them installed about 10 hours. Others after me got them done in roughly 5 hours or so.
My write up...would have to find it...shows how to use the stock headlight frames for the US spec E36 lights.
