heater valve by firewall???

guys i need pics of how your vacuum hoses to the heater valve thats bolted to the firewall and has the heater hoses going through it. i need to see how the vacuum hoses are routed. there is one vacuum hose that comes from the intake plenum to the heater valve and the other is integrated to the valve but i don't know which hose goes into which inlet???

so you mean the car was your parents' or something before it was yours?

i kinda hate the water valve tho.... it never seems to work right on my car. well, it never moves on my car. never figured out why not but I think it's always one way and never the other.

I just learned there are different heater valves. Mine always sits in the heat position. I tie strapped it closed. I learned at night I have two choices in temp, cold and colder with that valve closed. My buddies lil bro picked a valve up for me at the JY but it is shapped different and uses smaller hoses. Maybe I can change the diaphram.

so basically your valve isn't working at all? I think mine is the solenoid... cuz when i stick the vac tube straight to the valve, it'll move it, but it doesn't ever move by itself when i route it normally through the little solenoid.
