I dont know why but every so often my seat belt light comes on for no reason also the sound chimes. Anyone know what the problem could be?

 

The sensors go bad sometimes, I think that is covered under a lifetime warranty - but good luck with that.

Yeah, after Nissan refused to repair/replace them I ended up doing the bypass. Works like a charm.

 

My ve has done the same thing for years, even after the craigbrace bypass on both sides. I finally ended up removing the seatbelt bulb in the instrument cluster. For some odd reason, since i removed the bulb, it hardly ever chimes anymore.
