Had My Flywheel lightened

Had My Flywheel lightened When he first weighted it, it was 22 lbs. And after it was 18 lbs. I might wrong, but I thought that a stock one weighted 19 lbs. Can someone confirm what the stock weight is? I had it done at Savannah clutch, and I found out that they make clutch for every app. They also make a dual friction clutch for a 3rd gen. He showed me one and it was every impressive. He compared it to my centerfocre DF and if I would have known they made a DF, I would have bought theirs instead. He said that the center force DF is an awesome clutch, but his is even better. The price is about $250 and includes disc, pressure plate, TO bearing, pilot bushing, and the alignment tool. Ask for Gary, He is very helpful and with answer your Q's.

I take it no one knows about the flywheel question I had. If anyone gets that clutch, let me know what you think about it and the company.

Stock is around 20. I had 3lb taken out of mine and it weighed 17lb when they were done. Jeff92SE has also done the same. I believe he has real before/after weights also.

if it helps, I've still got a stock flywheel in my toolshed. I just don't have an accurate scale to weigh it.

Maybe the scale they used was off a few pounds. They took some off the front and the back so I don't think they ripped me off. Besides it was only $50.00 And he was the guy that almost everyone in Savannah recommends.

Hmmm strange. As far as I know, there's no room to take any off the front. Only a resurfacing is possible on the front. My machine shop only took it off the back and mostly right under the ring gear area(outer side). From my crappy scale at home, stock 19lbs. lightened 16 lbs about.

They took most off the ring on the back, then they took the whole front side down until it was 4lbs lighter than stock

So how much of a difference is noticed after it is lightened? Because I know to buy a lighter 4th gen one for me will be almost $600. So I am curious.
