Err I thought seat belt pads just made you look ricey? lol. Anyway, painting the calipers, but that's a little bit pointless without the not-so-cheap mod of aftermarket rims.. I think taking the cat. converter off and putting on an extension pipe would be pretty damn cheap if you can do the labor yourself.. getting a used CAI or pop charger is under $100 sometimes, especially pop chargers.. or just a K&N high flow air filter is like $50.. you can get different color windshield wipers or petals for pretty cheap.. I got my tint job for $95 (5%) a lot of performance brake parts are under $100.. exhaust tips are pretty cheap. And finally, the ultimate looks part: HUBCAPS

Remember the SEARCH ENGINE is your friend. The FAQs on the main page and stickies at the top help too.

Most of the people who have tried gutting or removing their catalytic converter don't recommend it. Expect your car to be louder and to fail emissions, with minimal power gains. Cats today are better than in the 70's.

Advancing your timing is free! Plus you'll get a little extra pep. Directions are on Bryan91SE's page:
http://members.csinet.net/tisch/maxima/
These instructions are for a VG (GXE).

remember that you'll be spending a little extra money at the pump each time though, and you can only use high octane gas.

Re: Re: Re: Cheap Mods

Buy a generic cone filter at any auto parts store (APC is $25 at PepBoys). Then, make the adapter yourself, somehow.
