Sup guys. My VE is runnin like crap. Found # 5 injector has failed. Looking to replace but might as well upgrade. Has anyone out there tried Venom Injectors ? ..They claim a 10% increase in flow. Is it worth it or just go with an OEM replacement ??....

 

Venom= CRAP. stay away.
You'll be doing it again in 6 months if you use them.

buy OE (Bosch) only.

 

I tried python / venom injectors for my '89 Max GXE and found two of the six they delivered were total crap, basically pissing fuel and not shutting off.

If you go with them, be sure to test them before installing them and plan exchanging the faulty ones.

I managed to get good used original injectors up and running as good as new, by scrapeing the layer of corrosion off the copper electrical terminals. (bringing their color from a dull brown to a shiney bight copper color.)

Leaking fuel accounts for the extra 10% increase in flow you're wondering about.
