Speaker Size

what size are the front and rear bose speakers in a 1992?.....im putting in an aftermarket deck and *maybe* new speakers i want to see if the new deck sounds good with the bose first (im tight on money or else id redo everything)

The fronts are 4" speakers in about a 10" pod and the rears are 6x9s.

go to crutchfield.com and do a search it will tell you what size you need and if you buy from them they include the wiring harness.

You can put in a 5.25 in the front with no modifications
what so ever and still use the bose basket i just put in some
yesterday

I did the same, basically you'll have to build a pod out of mdf that will screw into the holes that the bose pod attached to. Then cut out the hole for whatever speaker you buy. Just make sure you leave enough room for the window to clear the back of the speaker. Good luck.

Any concerns about angling the speaker upwards?
