CEL Again! Codes 34 & 51 Help!

Hello Everybody, today as I was normally driving to work after stoping at a red light, my car started to shake a little bit and then I noticed my CEL just came on.

I checked the codes and it gives me a 34 & 51, I remember I had those codes waaay back before replacing the engine, so I guess the ECU was right (before it got burned and replaced) and there's something wrong with my detonation sensor and fuel injection circuit (that's what I read from the codes)

Now, the car still runs good, however when idling I can feel the car shaking, and when I accelerate I still feel the car stumble it does not feel good, but it gains speed and shifts as normal.

What do I do? I need to fix this, my emissions test is coming up and I won't pass with the CEL on, Thanks!

Shakes on low speed acceleration? like its taking off from 2nd or 3rd without stalling?
Is the idle RPM sitting lower than normal?

And did you actually check those? (det. sensor / injection) and still have the problem?
If you checked those and still having problems, I guess I'd check MAF, throttle body, etc

Yes, that's the correct description of my problem, it shakes on idle and at low speed, it's gone when it reach 25-30Mph, like it was taking off from 2nd, but it shifts correctly though, or at least that's what I think.

No, I never checked either knock sensor or fuel injection circuit, well for injectors I checked them individually with an ohmmeter a while ago, they were ok I was checking for another problem, but besides that I have no idea how to check if I have a problem with those parts

RPM's seem normal, but I'll check again on idle because I only looked at them on the shifting and seem normal to me

Code 51 is fuel Injector circuit open, not fuel injection...you have a bad fuel injector dude. Don't worry with the ks code atm, it is not the cause of the shaking.

You are right, it's fuel injection circuit open... so what does that mean? a bad fuel injector? how do I spot which one? same way with ohms measurement?

Ok, During my lunch time I work a little bit on my car and I noticed a strong smell of gas, so I start moving the rear injectors line one by one and all of them as I moved one by one it change the idle of the car, I can hear the engine lowering rpm's as I moved the plug of each injector.... then... voila..

I spot a leak of gas on a very small hose that connects front rail with rear, I know it's only one rail but close to the dristribuitor, (next to the temp sensor) there is a small hose which is leaking, I did not remove the hose because I need to drive home, one I get there I'll remove and see if that's the only problem, I hope autozone sell this kind of hose...

I took a couple of phone picts ...

do a power balance test. while it's idling it should be shaking like that.. pull one wire at a time to see if the idle changes or not, then put it back. do all 6 like that, and see which one makes NO difference. whichever one made no difference is the dead one.

The main question would be... If I have a gas leak, could that be the reason I got the CEL? I'm thinkinh there's not enough fuel to one of the injectors and then ECU assume injectors not working properly, am I right?

How the hell do I remove that hose?, it's sooooo tight, should I be concerned about something on this fuel hose? like pressure or anything? Thanks!

to get to that hose you have to remove the UIM. depressurize the fuel system first, by starting the car a few times with the fuel pump fuse removed. (same thing you'd do if you were replacing the fuel filter, etc). then with the manifold removed you can access the rubber hoses on the rail.

and no, the CEL can't be caused by that fuel leak. we have a mechanical fuel pressure regulator AFTER all the injectors (fuel comes in, passes by all 6 injectors under pressure, then the excess goes past the FPR and back to the tank). dead injector is dead
