REMANUFACTURED FUEL INJECTORS????

I know for a fact that one or 2 of my Fuel Injectors are going bad. But Injectors are so expensive!! I have a 93 gxe vg30e engine with the pink top injectors. I saw they were selling remanufactured injectors on ebay for 50 bucks plus 8 dollars shipping. I have never replaced fuel injectors before, but I have taken the upper intake plenum off and replaced a leaking valve cover gasket. So Just wanted to know it this would be a good purchase? Any help would be appreciated !

dont get remanufactured

you will save money, but you will be replacing them soon again. and wasting money for the job again. gaskets etc if you do it yourself.

Get new injectors, or good used ones. and make sure you get the same injectors as the ones you already have

remans are basically just reboxed cores. cleaned up and pretty....... but our injectors fail b/c the coil wire deteriorates and/or snaps, not because of clogging.

in case it hasn't been clear, these are NOT A GOOD PURCHACE!
in fact, unless you are patching your car to get rid of it, then you will be spending more on two or three remans, becasue they will fail. and as said above, you have to replace the gaskets (again), do the job (again), and wait for parts to come in (again). and remember, even if you do all the work yourself, your time is worth money. think about how much a mechanic gets paid (the mechanic, not the shop). your time is worth at least that.

I agree too, I would buy the new bosch ones. Now that you already know how to take the plenum off, the install will be really easy for you. Injectors are one of the easiest repairs in my opinion, and with the right parts, it should go smoothly.
