Car will not start

Car will not start

I was driving on the hwy and my car just cut off, when i tried to start it it wouldn't turn over the lights come on but the starter will not turn, i bypass the starter to see if it would turn, it did but the car wouldn't start i have no clue what it could be. Any suggestion? i have a new starter and battery

my car doesnt start sometimes but i figured it out. even tho my car was in park it wouldnt start. so i pushed the **** up real quick and tried to start it and it works. its kinda weird. i guess its not in gear at park, it didnt click or something. but yeah i have that problem right now , not sure if its the same as urs.

doesnt seem to serious. i just push it real quick then it starts lol, see if thats your problem and get back to us.

That shouldn't cause the car to cut off during operation though... perhaps there's something else going on???

But as far as it not starting and messing with the shifter... yes the shifter bushing (located above the cat)

hmmmm....I am guessing your car is a VG, and I am guessing your timing belt broke.

I found out it was a fuse, not sure why it keep blowing "engine cont fuse"

check your oxygen sensor. In several cases it has been a bad o2 causing the fuse to blow.

wow, the same exact thing happened to me about 5 years ago. and it also turned out to be a fuse. just swapped and kept going. as for the O2 sensor, i still have to change it out.
