First things first.

If your going to change your injectors...pull the entire fuel rail off to do it. You will find out why as part of this story.

Pulled a bad injector, without removing the entire fuel rail (works on the 4th gen anyways). However a good bit of fuel emptied into the cyl.
Got the new injector in and put the car back together. However when I went to crank it, it sounded like it was hydrolocked. Then I realized to much fuel in the cyl.
So I pull the spark plugs hang all the spark plug wires off the front of the car.
Pull the fuel pump fuse, and the coil pack wire.
However the coil pack wire is to short, and I didnt think about it. The spraying fuel from the cyclinders...and the coil pack spark caught the top of the motor on fire. I figured the fuel would burn off until the heat shield of the hood caught on fire. Got it put out, but it got dark Looks like it only melted the injector harness on the front three.

LOL its quite a fun evening

I'm still struggling with the "I'll just let it burn" mentality.
